Atchison started playing the ukulele when she was 13 years old to accompany her singing. Coming from a musically gifted family and having five siblings, Atchison was surrounded by music growing up and had no lack of inspiration.

Atchison will be performing at the Día de los Muertos Festival on Nov. 5 in downtown Nacogdoches. This will be Atchison's first festival performance, where she will be singing traditional Day of the Dead songs.
